WINTER SESSION
December 22 - January 16
Winter Session at Rutgers University-Newark is an excellent opportunity to earn academic credit in just three weeks. We offer courses across a variety of disciplines that are open to current Rutgers students, alumni, visiting students, and lifelong learners.
This intensive session delivers all the benefits of attending a full-time RU-Newark course in an accelerated timeline. Many classes will be offered online with day and evening options that allow students the flexibility to get one step closer to graduation or explore a subject of personal interest.
- Visiting Student Application for non-Rutgers students closes on December 17, 2025 at 6:00pm.
- Class meeting dates: December 22, December 23, and January 5 to January 16.
- The University will be closed for winter break from December 25, 2025 to January 4, 2026.
Current Rutgers University undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to register through WebReg.
Visiting students from another institution, alumni, and adults seeking coursework for personal enrichment must complete the Visiting Student Application.
