Winter Session 2026 Calendar & Deadlines 

September 2, 2025Schedule of Classes is open.
September 29, 2025Visiting Student Application opens at 8:30 a.m.
October 6, 2025Registration begins. WebReg or in person.
December 2, 2025Term bills due.
December 17, 2025Last day for visiting (non-Rutgers) students to submit the Visiting Student Application.
The Visiting Student Application will be unavailable after 6:00 p.m.
December 19, 2025Last day to add a course in Webreg or in person.
December 21, 2025Last day to cancel a course registration (drop) and receive a 100% refund.  WebReg only.  
December 22, 2025Session begins.  Classes will meet on December 22, December 23, and January 5 through January 16.
December 25, 2025 -
January 4, 2026		Winter Break
University offices are closed.  Courses may have directed readings, online and/or web-enhanced coursework during this time. Please consult the course syllabus for specific assignments.
January 2, 2026Last day to withdraw using WebReg with 50% refund. 
A "W" grade will be applied to the student's transcript. 
January 9, 2026Last day to withdraw using WebReg with $0 refund.  
A "W" grade will be applied to the student's transcript. WebReg or in-person.
January 16, 2026Session ends.
January 10 & 17, 2026Make-up dates.
Courses will meet on the scheduled make-up date in the event of an official campus closure during the preceding week.  Make-up classes will meet at the original course time and location.
