Fees
Winter Session Student Fee
This is a one-time $83 fee charged to all winter session students to support student enhancement programs, services, and facilities, such as the library, writing centers and labs, health services, recreation centers, student centers, student events and concerts, and campus buses, which complement and support the academic experience.
Course Fee
A Course Fee may be assessed to students enrolled in a specific course and will be noted in the course’s details on the University Schedule of Classes.
The Course Fee covers the cost of supplies, equipment, and course materials for instructional purposes. The Course Fee does not include the cost of books. All registered students are responsible for paying the class’s associated course fee. Rutgers University Course Fee Policy.
Winter Session Tuition Rate
A winter course’s tuition rate is specific to the RU-N school offering the course. Follow the steps below to calculate a course’s tuition rate:
STEP 1: Visit the University Schedule of Classes to view Winter Session 2025 course offerings.
STEP 2: Locate the 2-digit school number and total number of credits.
STEP 3: Match the school number to the corresponding per credit rate on the tuition chart, then multiply the per credit rate by the number of credits.
