Opportunity for High School Students

Get an edge up on your classmates this winter! Make your college applications stand out by including a Rutgers University transcript.

Rutgers University-Newark offers High School Students a unique opportunity to experience campus life, get to know our faculty and staff, and meet other highly motivated students while getting an edge up on their classmates. Academically qualified high school students must submit an application to take winter session courses.

How to Apply

The 2020 High School Student Application opens on Monday, October 7. High school students completing grades 9, 10, or 11 by June 2020 are invited to submit an application through The Office of Summer & Winter Sessions Application Portal. First time users who do not have an RU ID, must create a new account. Once an account is created, a list of applications will become available. Complete and submit a High School Student Application.
